…my hands are freezing because i spent the last hour separating and homogenizing a half-frozen pig heart. biochem problems. my life is an endless loop of EDTA buffers and increasing centrifuge speeds. rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat… literally.

energy drinks are gross. putting a rabbit heart in a blender is gross. redoing a bradford assay because your reagent didn’t work last week and the dye front is inexplicably YELLOW and the Coomassie didn’t stain the proteins and all you can see is the pre-stained ladder… GROSS.
